Own Damages Coverage

1. Incident Response: Covers costs for investigating and detecting the incident, costs for responding to and eliminating the incident such as deleting malware or disabling compromised user accounts, etc., costs for documenting the incident, costs for complying with applicable data protection laws following a data breach (such as notifying the supervisory authority or your customers), costs for operating an internal or external crisis management center (including a hotline), costs for purchasing monitoring services for a cyber incident related to the theft of personal or financial information for the benefit of customers affected by a data breach, costs for managing and protecting your reputation following an insured event, legal defense costs and costs for insurable administrative fines and penalties imposed by your supervisory authority as a direct consequence of the data breach.
